Participant Profile
Learning Objectives
The primary objective of the workshop is to develop an understanding of the most commonly used approaches and techniques for monitoring and evaluating the impact of household energy interventions. By the end of the workshop, participants will have developed sufficient familiarity with these tools to design a monitoring plan for their own interventions. A secondary objective is to offer participants an opportunity to network and share best practices with other household energy and health experts through poster sessions, group discussions, and site visits.
Participants will develop a monitoring plan by: Selecting appropriate methods for assessing IAP, health impacts, fuel savings, socioeconomic effects, and technology adoption and usage. Incorporating study designs, basic statistics, sample size calculations, and data analysis methods. Assessing their potential for generating carbon credits for the voluntary carbon trading market.
