Our Experience And Interest In The Four PCIA Central Focus Areas

Social/Cultural barriers to using traditional fuels and stoves:

We target people from the rural areas.

Market development for improved cooking technologies:

We are working on developing the market for alternate solar energy usage, and clean healthy air for the rural households.

Technology standardization for cooking, heating and ventilation:

We standardize the use of technology in rural households, switching from the use of biomass/kerosene, which emanate fumes and high amounts of carbon dioxide, to more greener methods of solar energy and cheaper alternates of heating/cooking/kitchen utensils.

Indoor air pollution exposure and health monitoring:

Monitoring the usage would occur at every project level based on the project evaluation mechanism.
