The Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves recently partnered with Accenture Development Partnerships (ADP), the global management consultancy’s not-for-profit practice, to prepare a market assessment and prepare recommendations to develop a national cookstove industry in Timor-Leste. The National Cookstove Workshop is an opportunity to bring together existing and potential program participants from the Government, civil society, UN agencies, private sector, and donor communities in a forum to share cookstove program plans, learnings, progress, and timelines. The workshop will include a presentation of Alliance market assessment findings, spotlights on innovative programs in Timor-Leste, panel discussions and break-out groups to facilitate a clear plan forward for improved co-ordination across the sector.
