The Partnership for Clean Indoor Air is a global public-private partnership with membership of non-profit organizations (~55%), private sector companies (~20%), governments and multilateral agencies (~14%), and educational institutions (~11%). Partners determine how they want to participate and contribute their resources and expertise to increase the use of affordable, reliable, clean, efficient, and safe home cooking and heating practices.

Partners agree to work collaboratively to further the PCIA mission to improve health, livelihood, and quality of life by reducing exposure to air pollution, primarily among women and children, from household energy use.

Join this dynamic network of professionals, practitioners and advocates on the forefront of household energy and indoor air pollution best practices!  Put your skills and experience to work in making significant positive impacts in the health and livelihoods of women and children around the world!

The benefits of becoming a Partner include:

Outstanding capacity building and networking opportunities: Partners are eligible to participate in PCIA events including technical trainings, regional workshops, and international meetings and forums, including the Biennial Partnership Forum. There is no registration fee for these events, and Partners may apply to the Partnership for travel scholarships to attend. These events give Partners an outstanding opportunity to develop specific technical skills, and share results, best practices, and lessons learned with leading international energy and health experts from the public and private sector.

Funding and activity updates: Partners receive the quarterly PCIA Bulletin which highlights the activities of the Partnership and individual Partners around the world, and includes useful listings of funding opportunities, upcoming events, and more. Partners also receive time sensitive information about funding opportunities directly by email.

Increased exposure for your organization’s work: All Partners complete a Partner Profile describing their organization that is publicly viewable on this site, and are encouraged to submit updates on their work for publication in the Bulletin, which is distributed directly to over 400 individuals at more than 200 Partner organizations, including non-profit organizations, donors, educational institutions, government agencies and the private sector, as well as indirectly to far more through listserves and related websites. Partners may also submit project profiles to be posted on this site.

Partners begin receiving these and other benefits as soon as their application has been approved, usually within a week of submission.

I support the Partnership for Clean Indoor Air mission and would like to register my organization as a Partner.
