Sensitization and mobilization of community leaders to ensure maximum use of the product.
Background
Mambilla Plateau of Taraba State popularly described as a temperate region in a tropical country is fast losing its serenity due to deforestation. Women spend nearly three hours everyday collecting firewood.
Expected Outcome
To promote the use of Rocket stove for our target community and Nigeria at large so as to improve:
- the health of women and children
- reduce the rate of usage of foraged wood
- create a form of micro enterprise for rural people
