Legacy Foundation (LF) is dedicated to the promotion of sustainable human development and preservation of our environment, through integration of community empowerment, education, awareness, technology and management services. Our primary activities center in the provision of training and technical support in the production, dissemination and marketing of wet slurry, low pressure briquette making. We sell production, construction, user and training manuals on line. We have capacity to produced media programmes for marketing.

Our projects are operational worldwide. The main participants are usually rural women. The briquette making increases their income, is labour saving and supports environmental conservation through forest protection. Projects vary in size from one village to large sub-urban groups.
Our Experience And Interest In The Four PCIA Central Focus Areas
There is usually no social or cultural barrier if the briquettes allow the women to save time and money. If the briquettes decrease the number of hours or distance they have to walk to get fuel AND if the briquettes cost less to produce than either firewood or charcoal or other fuels, then the briquettes can be a huge success. There is rarely a problem of getting enough materials for briquette making as they are made of grass, leaves, straw (ag wastes) and paper. If the briquettes save time and money they succeed in all the cultures we have worked.
We have full capacity to produce, direct, edit and present Video Media productions through our experienced Media Unit.

Our Contribution to the Partnership
We would see a partnership of information sharing initially, then possible project collaboration. We could provide training in briquette production and ongoing online technical support to briquette groups. We also have a full capacity to produce MEDIA / VIDEOS We can provide training manuals in all aspects of briquette production and training.
