Winrock International is a nonprofit organization that works with people in the United States and around the world to empower the disadvantaged, increase economic opportunity, and sustain natural resources. Winrock designs innovative and integrated household energy and health solutions that are locally appropriate and scalable, and that incorporate advanced technology design, behavior change, market development, and IAP monitoring. Winrock Nepal is currently establishing wholesale lending agreements between local financial service providers such as saving and credit cooperatives, micro finance development banks and the larger commercial and development-focused financial institutes.
