Shengzhou Stove Manufacturer has produced more than 60,000 improved stoves for distribution in India and African and Latin American countries. Shengzhou seeks input from cooks worldwide to identify social and cultural needs when developing stove products for each global market. This is accomplished through field cook surveys which are reviewed and processed during the stove product design process. Shengzhou is currently capable of producing 20,000 biomass stoves per month, and is investing in numerous technologies and factory expansion in order to meet anticipated global demand. The Shengzhou stoves save up to 50 percent of fuel wood and reduce health-damaging and climate change emissions by 70 percent over commonly used kerosene and open fire cooking.
