Our Experience And Interest In The Four PCIA Central Focus Areas
Eco Stove is a self starter where user can start cooking effortlessly. It is simple, portable and easily adaptable for cooking by everyone including old and illiterate.
Alpha Eco Stove which works on the principal of gasification uses less than 70% biomass. Eco Stove's CO emission to cook is only 6.1G compared to the 20G benchmark. The parts per million emission to cook is 211MG compared to the 1500MG benchmark.
Eco stove will work with any locally available biomass including cow dung.
Eco Stove's 70% in fuel savings will help forestation. Reduction in time for collecting fire wood and cooking will promote better social benefits and healthier lives.
Eco Stove is marketed as a wood gas stove for camping and hiking. Since the last three years, all necessary improvements have been made before launching this product to the rural communities. All safety suggestions from Aprovecho Research Center have been incorporated in Eco Stove.
Boiling 5 liters of water with less than 750 Grams of biomass which emits less than 250 ppm emission to cook.
The NGO will be encouraged to fill out a simple survey form regarding the health conditions of the users before and after.
