Ten thousand families in Mexico now have a safer, healthier, more efficient way to cook. These families were part of an improved cookstove pilot project conducted by EcoZoom, a company dedicated to making cooking safe for people and the planet.
This project included designing a new stove especially for cooking in Mexico, conducting trainings with stove installers, and participating in the first round of installations.
EcoZoom’s plancha stove (named La Mera Mera in Mexico) has a chimney, two burners, a cast iron plancha and two removable tops to allow for direct access to the flame.
