Social/Cultural barriers to using traditional fuels and stoves:

StoveTec partners with Aprovecho Research Center to identify social and cultural input, when developing improved cook stove products, and services.

Market development for improved cooking technologies:

StoveTec is the distribuitor of GreenFire Technology, and improved biomass outdoor cook stoves. StoveTec is the commercial stove side of operations of Aprovecho Research Center, which mission is to place low unit cost, low fuel use, low emission, low greenhouse gas, biomass stoves in the hands of 50% of the world that still cooks by open flame.

Technology standardization for cooking, heating and ventilation:

Aprovecho Research Center is the non-profit, technical adviser for StoveTec products and services.

Indoor air pollution exposure and health monitoring:

All StoveTec products are tested at Aprovecho Research Center. StoveTec distributes emission monitoring equipment, developed by Aprovecho Research Center.
